Whats On: FOX SHOWCASE in October

October is here and that means a stack of new content is too! Here are some of the shows on FOX SHOWCASE that you shouldn’t miss this month…..

Featuring a star-studded cast including Oscar winners Regina King, Jeremy Irons and Louis Gosset Jr. and celebrated actors Frances Fisher and Don Johnson, Watchmen is based on one of most the iconic graphic novels of all time and is set in an alternate history where masked vigilantes are treated as outlaws.

Written and executive produced by Damon Lindelof (Lost, The Leftovers) and directed by Nicole Kassell (Westworld, The Leftovers), the 9-part series embraces the nostalgia of the original ground-breaking graphic novel of the same name, while setting out to break new ground of its own. Nine Inch Nails musicians Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have created the original music for the series.

Watchmen is produced for HBO by White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros Television. It is based on the graphic novel co-created and illustrated by Dave Gibbons and published by DC.

It is now Spring, a few months after the end of Season 9, when our group of survivors dared to cross into Whisperer territory during the harsh winter. The collected communities are still dealing with the after effects of Alpha’s horrific display of power, reluctantly respecting the new borderlines being imposed on them, all while organising themselves into a militia-style fighting force, preparing for a battle that may be unavoidable.
